What Makes NSCS So Different?
The National Society of Collegiate Scholars goes beyond just recognizing high-achieving students. The honor society also helps equip them, in real and practical ways, so that they can earn more scholarship money, gain access to better leadership, internship, and job opportunities, and become more well-rounded scholars. Students from nearly 300 chapters across the United States have benefited from a lifetime membership with NSCS since it was founded in 1994.
What is NSCS?
The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) is a non-profit honor society that recognizes high-achieving first-and second-year college students. NSCS provides career and graduate school connections, leadership and service experiences, access to discounts and savings, and offers more money in undergrad scholarships than any other honor society of its kind.

How Do You Get In?
To be considered for membership you must be invited. The NSCS board works in close collaboration with your University’s Office of the Registrar to identify students who meet our membership standards. We look for the first-and second-year students who attend an accredited U.S. institution and have earned a 3.4 GPA or higher. We invite fewer than 20% of all eligible college students nationwide, so if you’ve been invited, you’re in good company!
