NSCS offers more than a quarter of a million dollars in scholarships each year to help our members attain their goals and commend them for their outstanding academic excellence as well their leadership and service achievements.
Scholarships are one of the most direct ways NSCS impacts our members and we are continually adding new and diverse scholarships to reach and assist as many members as possible. Please log in to apply for scholarships.

NSCS Student Scholarship for Military Service Award $1000
The National Society of Collegiate Scholars is proud to announce the NSCS Student Scholarship for Military Service Award. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a high-achieving student veteran who exemplifies the spirit of military service and is currently enrolled in an institution of higher education with the intention of pursuing a 4-year degree. NSCS Crazy Ideas Award $1000
The National Society of Collegiate Scholars is proud to announce the NSCS Crazy Ideas Award. The NSCS Crazy Ideas Award will be made available to NSCS Members and Officers to provide additional aid to chapter and member led initiatives, including but not limited to activities, programs, publications, service or special events that offer opportunities for students to broaden their educational development through co-curricular experiences. Universum Scholarship $2000
Universum’s mission is to be a global meeting place for talent and employers; offering services and products that help employers attract, recruit and retain ideal talent while helping talent learn about ideal employers. Universum has partnered with NSCS to provide two (2) $2000 dollar scholarships and the opportunity for the recipient to attend the 2012 Employer Branding Conference / UNIVERSUM Awards in New York City. Ellen and Derek van Bever Award $1000
The National Society of Collegiate Scholars is proud to announce the Ellen and Derek van Bever Award, presented annually to one NSCS member who has distinguished himself or herself through exemplary service in their campus or their community. NSCS will recognize and reward this member’s extraordinary service accomplishment that has had a contagious, positive effect on their community. READ MORE
Semester at Sea 2012 $10,000
