NSCS Crazy Ideas Award $1000

The National Society of Collegiate Scholars is proud to announce the NSCS Crazy Ideas Award. The NSCS Crazy Ideas Award will be made available to NSCS Members and Officers to provide additional aid to chapter and member led initiatives, including but not limited to activities, programs, publications, service or special events that offer opportunities for students to broaden their educational development through co-curricular experiences. Members can apply to fund their Crazy Ideas in amounts ranging from $500-$1,000, supported by a strong application and detailed budget.

Proposed Dates:

Application Opens: January 5, 2012

Application Closes: February 12, 2012

Notification Date: February 27, 2012

Award:

  • NSCS Members can apply for awards ranging from $500 - $1,000
  • The amount awarded is based on the number of applications received

Eligibility:

  • Must have at least a 3.4 GPA
  • Must be an NSCS member in good standing
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in an accredited institution
  • Must have a completed member profile.  Click here to log in and complete your profile now

  • Adhere to all local campus rules and regulations

Please Note:

  • All checks will be disbursed directly to the award recipient
  • A W-9 is required of all award recipients
  • Application materials may be used by NSCS for varying purposes
  • If selected, necessary information must be received by NSCS within two weeks of notification date or scholarship will be forfeited
