Congratulations to the 2012 Integrity Award Recipients

"Integrity week is such an amazing aspect of NSCS. It really makes one think about the integrity they possess.  Participating in integrity week has made me more aware of integrity and its power to make myself and the world better. To me, receiving this scholarship means that standing for integrity and expressing it, whether through actions or simply acknowledging its importance, does go noticed by those around you and it is great to know that I can be recognized for it." -Breeah Araiza, University of California Riverside
"I've never had as much fun applying for a scholarship as I did for NSCS integrity week. It challenged me to think of the most creative ways in which I could get my views across. All of the submissions I saw were amazing, and I am honored to be one of the chosen winners. I can't wait until next year"- Geneal Chichester, Bighamton University
"Upon finding out that I won the Integrity Scholarship for Environmental Integrity, I clicked my heels and did a little jig of happiness. This scholarship will make the burden of buying textbooks a little lighter when next semester rolls around. So thank you, NSCS, for supporting my continuing education!"- Shay Quigley, East Carolina University
"I am so excited that I have won the Integrity Scholarship for 2012. I worked really hard to produce the best and most creative representation of integrity. I had looked at the previous year’s winners and saw that all of them were drawings of the I-Guy. I am not particularly good at drawing but I love photography. Therefore, I decided to tell a story through photographs. This scholarship could not have come at a better time either. I am a sophomore trying to figure out how to pay the increasing costs to attend my university and this $500 will help me so much. I am so happy that my creativity won a scholarship and that this scholarship was not based on who you knew, amount of money, or how prestigious your university is. I won purely on creativity which makes me feel proud of my accomplishment."- Colleen Dedalis, University of Evansville
