Distinguished Service Award

The National Society of Collegiate Scholars is proud to announce the Distinguished Service Award which recognizes one NSCS member who has distinguished himself or herself by performing an exemplary accomplishment which has created a significant direct impact on NSCS members or the overall organization.

We are looking for extraordinary accomplishment such as starting a new and extremely successful chapter, significantly improving or initiating an NSCS signature program on campus, or implementing a unique service initiative or program for NSCS members on your campus.

The student will receive a $1,000 check, a plaque presented by an NSCS board member at the 2009 NSCS convention, and an all expense paid trip to “Be The Change | Become The Legacy” — the 2009 NSCS convention in Washington DC.

Eligibility

  • Must be an active NSCS member
  • Must be attending an accredited university
  • Must have a minimum 3. 6 G.P.A
  • Must have a complete profile on NSCS
  • Must have an updated resume on NSCS Scholar Jobs

Key Dates

Application Opens: March 1, 2010
Application Closes: April 30, 2010
Notification Date: July 2010
