Who should attend the NSCS Regional Summits?

The NSCS “Summit 2010: Own the Road” is open to all chapter officers and advisors.

The focus of this year’s regional summits center around helping chapter officers understand the challenges to their position and highlights challenges, so that you in turn can inspire others as you make a difference in your chapter, in your community and in your own life. Regional Summit is also the perfect place to build your personal development, networking and leadership skills as well as find out firsthand through interactive networking about special career and educational advancement opportunities available to NSCS members.

What is the dress code?

We ask that all attendees adhere to a business casual dress code.

What if I need special accommodations?

If you have dietary needs or require other special accommodations, please indicate this during the registration process.  You can also e-mail us at guidetti [at] nscs [dot] org to discuss these needs in-depth.

What is the cost of attending the NSCS 2010 Regional Summits?

Additional members who wish to attend the Regional Summits will need to pay $250. This price includes registration fee, accommodations and event meals only. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Summit as well as all other costs.

What is the refund policy?

We understand that there are always unexpected events that might affect your attendance. We are will honor refund requests based on the following:

  • Cancellations on or before April  30, 2010 are entitled to a full refund, less a $50 administrative processing fee.
  • Cancellations on or between May 1, 2010 and May 13, 2010 are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Refund requests will not be honored on or after May 14, 2010

When does registration open and close?

Registration for the NSCS Regional Summits will open at 9:00 AM on March 10, 2010 and will close May 31, 2010.

How do I register?

Visit your specific region summit page and click on the appropriate "click here" link. From that point on, follow the specific instructions to the end of the registration process.

Does the registration fee include meals?

Yes, all registration prices include event sponsored meals as follows:

  • Lunch on Day 1 will be provided. Full dinner is on your own during your free time to enjoy the city.
  • Day 2 the meals include breakfast and lunch.

What forms of payment are accepted for the registration fee?

You can pay for your registration fee using a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

I registered but cannot attend. Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

Yes, but you must request a registration transfer prior to May 14, 2010. It is your responsibility to negotiate payments from the person you are transferring your registration to.
