Planning to Achieve Collegiate Excellence [PACE]

The Planning to Achieve Collegiate Excellence (PACE) Program works to inspire young students to aspire to college by connecting them with local high-achieving college students in their community. PACE is comprised of three components, mentoring/tutoring, assemblies and March to College Day. March to College Day is an NSCS signature event during which middle school students are invited onto a college campus for a day to get a feel for the college experience. READ MORE

What is Integrity and Why Does it Matter?

The concept—and practice—of integrity is at the core of NSCS. Each year, NSCS recognizes the second week of February as Integrity Week to commemorate this important value. Members celebrate throughout the week engaging in an array of events. Activities on this day differ from chapter to chapter, but range from placing banners around campus, organizing integrity debates, activities that test individuals' integrity, guest speakers and a national i-Guy contest. International Scholar Laureate Program

NSCS has partnered with the International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP) to offer the opportunity for NSCS members to attend one of ISLP’s many life-changing programs. The programs consist of high achieving and motivated college students who embark on a culturally- immersive experience that combines select career-focused site visits with unique cultural exchanges, topical lectures and discussions with host nation students and professors to foster in each participant a new sense of possibility and a renewed drive to succeed. New Member Induction Ceremony

After students accept their nomination to join The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, they are officially welcomed into NSCS at an Induction Ceremony held the following fall. The Ceremony provides members the opportunity to be formally inducted into the Society and receive their membership pins. The ceremony gives new members a chance to learn more about NSCS, network and meet chapter leadership. READ MORE

Distinguished Scholars

Get hands-on professional experience and earn credit from Georgetown University when you become an NSCS Distinguished Scholar. In partnership with The Fund for American Studies, NSCS provide opportunities for its members to spend a summer or semester living, learning and interning in the nation’s capital. READ MORE
