Lindsay Bowen

Senior Director, Chapter Development

Lindsay Bowen was born and raised in Northern Virginia and now resides in Lincoln, NH. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with minors in Political Science and Women’s Studies at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.

After graduation, Lindsay began working for The Healthcare Distribution Management Association in Reston, VA, managing the HDMA Healthcare Foundation’s fundraising and branding efforts. After 2.5 years with HDMA, she decided to pursue a career in sales and went to the Oracle Corporation. After 2 years at Oracle, Lindsay decided to go back to the nonprofit world and found a home in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Since Lindsay has been with NSCS, she has worked to build and strengthen the NSCS Partnership Program, adding several recruitment partners to the program to provide more opportunities for NSCS members. She has also been involved in securing sponsorships and exhibitors for the NSCS Convention and various other NSCS initiatives. Currently, as the Senior Director of Chapter Development, Lindsay works with students and college administration at institutions throughout the country to expand the NSCS footprint and charter new chapters.

Outside of the office, Lindsay likes to spend time with her family, friends, and dog, Allie. She also enjoys reading, traveling, going to the movies and watching Hokie football!
