Leadership

NSCS Members are high-achieving students and leaders on campuses nationwide.  NSCS provides members with a variety of personal and professional growth opportunities to develop a well-rounded personality and, as a result, a well-rounded life.

Members that are engaged with their campus chapter develop a variety of leadership skills through service, mentorship and networking. Being an active member is a great way to meet like-minded students on campus.

NSCS Chapter Officers

NSCS challenges each NSCS officer to develop the skills and attributes necessary to be successful in the future as a global citizen.  Being an active NSCS Officer is one of the most valuable ways to build leadership abilities, expand interpersonal relationships, and extend program management skills.  NSCS Officers participate in training and work closely with a National Member Engagement Manager.

National Leadership Council

The National Leadership Council (NLC) is a unique opportunity for a select number of members to serve as an advisory board to the NSCS national staff and Board of Directors. The NLC works to improve the NSCS experience for all members. NLC members also serve as peer resources to chapter officers.

Alumni Advisory Board

The Alumni Advisory Board consists of notable NSCS alumni, including former chapter officers, current and former NLC members, as well as active members. The AAB’s mission is to strategically implement activities/programs for alumni engagement, support initiatives presented by the NSCS national office while serving as a resource to provide feedback from alumni and coordinate funding/scholarship opportunities for NSCS.
