Inspire Integrity Awards National Award Recipients

Congratulations to the national recipient and runner-up of the Inspire Integrity Awards!

 

Linda-Bolton-IowaNational Recipient: Dr. Linda Bolton, Professor of English at the University of Iowa.

Dr. Bolton's classes focus on writers of "difference", including but not limited to race, culture, language, disability and illness. In her classes she incorporates community service and volunteering as a way to help students better identify with the subjects they read about.

As the national recipient, she will receive a $3,000 award, as well as a $2,500 donation toward University of Iowa's general scholarship fund.

Takeuchi-Kenneth-Buffalo

 

Dr. Kenneth Takeuchi, Professor of Chemistry at the University at Buffalo.

Dr Takeuchi's teaches several undergraduate and graduate chemistry classes at U-Buffalo. He consistently incorporates anecdotes and lessons on integrity into all his courses. Dr. Takeuchi received his bachelor's from the University of Cincinnati and his Ph.D. from the Ohio State University.
